This is a beautifully crafted White Deer Damascus Steel Santoku Japanese Chef Knife. This knife is a 100 % handmade Damascus steel with micarta composite Handle grips. The Blade of the chef’s knife is a hand forged steel Blade, with a steel quality of 1095 to 15N20 high carbon Japanese steel. 200 layers, and the heat treatment is achieves hardness of 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale. This handle of this knife is full tang, made out of micarta. It has a two pins spanning the handle, with a mosaic pin embedded in the middle. After using the knife, we recommend you wash it clean by hand and hand dry with a towel right away. After drying, use mineral oil or cooking oil to coat the steel and prevent discoloration.
